Description: RiverCOG worked with member towns to obtain parcel survey with wetlands and watercourses denoted by a soil scientist. These scans were georeferenced using 2016 aerial photography by the state of Connecticut, along with building and parcel data collected and maintained by the RiverCOG. Georeferenced maps were used to transcribe wetlands and watercourses. Other data, such as 1-foot contours obtained by the State of Connecticut in 2016 and the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (CTDEEP) wetlands layer were used as reference points. Relevant data from the scanned maps was collected along with the line features where available.

Copyright Text: Milone and MacBroom, Inc were contracted by RiverCOG to create this data through funding provided by the Connecticut Office of Policy and Management.
